Privacy Policy
Klipora AI – AI Viral Shorts Maker for Android · Last updated: November 1, 2026
This policy explains what information the Klipora AI Android app (package com.viral.shortsmaker) and this website (klipora.sites.tab.bot) use, why, and the choices you have. Klipora AI is made by Sakib, an independent developer in India ("we", "us").
1. Information the app uses
- Video links and files you choose. When you paste a link or pick a video, the app fetches or reads that video on your phone to make shorts. Source videos, clips and finished shorts are stored on your device (app storage and, when you save, your gallery). We do not receive copies of them.
- Audio and transcripts for AI processing. To find good clips and make captions, the app sends the audio of the selected video to Groq (speech-to-text) and the transcript and video title to Google Gemini (clip selection). These requests are made directly from your phone with the API keys you enter, so they are governed by those providers' own terms and privacy policies. We do not see or store this data.
- Your API keys. The Gemini and Groq keys you enter are stored encrypted on your device and are only sent to those providers.
- Settings and app state. Preferences (quality, caption style, unlock timers, project history) are stored locally on your device.
- Ads (free version). The free version uses the Unity Ads SDK to show rewarded and other ads. Unity may collect information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, device model, operating system, language, app usage and ad interactions, to serve, measure and prevent fraud in ads. See Unity's privacy policy. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your phone's settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Privacy → Ads). The Premium edition shows no ads.
- Bug reports and support email. If you choose "Report a bug" or "Help & support", your email app opens with device information and recent app logs that you can review before sending. We only receive what you send.
- App updates. The app may download updated video-engine components from public sources (for example GitHub). This does not send personal data to us.
The app has no login, no analytics SDK of our own, and does not access your contacts, location, camera or microphone.
2. This website
This website does not use cookies or analytics of our own. The hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and operation. Download links lead to GitHub and other app stores, which have their own privacy policies.
3. How information is used
- to provide the app's features (making shorts, captions, face tracking) on your device;
- to show ads in the free version and unlock features when you watch rewarded ads;
- to answer support requests and fix bugs you report.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your videos to train AI models.
4. Sharing
Data is shared only with the services needed for the features above: Groq and Google (AI processing, using your own keys), Unity Ads (ads in the free version), and the platform you download the video from. We may disclose information if required by law.
5. Data retention and deletion
Everything Klipora stores is on your phone. You can delete projects inside the app, clear the app's data in Android settings, or uninstall the app to remove it. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you; ask us and we will delete them.
6. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, where they apply, laws such as the EU/UK GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, nominate another person to exercise your rights, and raise a grievance. Because we do not hold app data on our servers, most requests can be handled on your device; for anything else, email us and we will respond within a reasonable time (normally 30 days).
7. Children
Klipora is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you are under 18, use the app with a parent's or guardian's permission.
8. Security
Network connections use HTTPS, and API keys are stored encrypted on the device. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The new version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
