AI captions for shorts, free on Android
Klipora AI writes word-by-word captions for each short from that short's own audio. Each word lights up as it is spoken, so the text stays in sync with the speaker.
Caption languages
Captions come in Hinglish, Hindi or English. The transcript follows the audio track you picked, so when a dubbed video has several audio tracks, the captions match the one you chose.
Styles and control
There are 10 caption styles, key-word highlighting and an optional ALL CAPS mode. Caption Studio lets you restyle captions after a short is made, without making the short again. Every style is checked in 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9, so the captions stay in frame.
Captions that run to the end
Version 5.4 fixed captions that could stop partway through a short while the speech carried on. Captions now run to the very end of every short, and stretches the first pass missed are checked again.
How captions are unlocked
On the free Android plan, captions unlock for one video with a short rewarded ad. Ten ads give you 24 hours with everything unlimited. On Windows, captions are included with no ads.
Why captions matter for shorts
Many people watch short videos with the sound off, so captions carry the message on their own. Word-by-word captions also keep the viewer reading along, which is why each word lights up as it is spoken.
Check captions before you post
Play each short once with the sound off. Check that the words match what is said, that the captions appear through the end, and that the text stays clear of the speaker's face. If a line looks wrong, open Caption Studio to restyle them.
