How podcast clips are picked
Podcasts are detected when you paste the link, so the clip rules fit a conversation rather than a movie. Each clip starts at the question and ends after the answer, so it tells a complete story. Most clips run from 45 seconds to 1:30.
The AI scores each moment, and you can make 1 to 5 shorts from one episode.
Face tracking and split screen
AI face tracking keeps the person who is speaking in the frame, with smooth moves and no shaking. When two people talk back and forth, split screen turns on by itself, and each half shows only its own person.
Face tracking is for podcasts. On the free Android plan it unlocks for one podcast with a short rewarded ad. The Windows version includes it with no ads.
Captions for podcast clips
Word-by-word captions light up as each word is spoken, synced to the short's own audio. Hindi, Hinglish and English captions are supported, with an ALL CAPS option. Captions are checked to stay in frame in 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9.
Good to know
Clip episodes you own or have permission to use. Klipora needs internet and two free keys, Gemini and Groq, which are stored encrypted on your phone. If an episode has dubbed audio in several languages, pick the language track first, because the captions follow it.
Rendering happens on your phone and keeps going in the background, with progress in the notification.
Making a podcast short, step by step
Paste the episode link and pick the 9:16 format. Choose how many shorts you want and turn on captions and face tracking. Tap Generate shorts and wait for the progress bar to finish. Then watch each clip once before you save it, since the AI's picks are a starting point and you know your show best.
If a clip does not land, generate again from the same episode with different options; each run makes its own set of shorts.
