Long video to shorts, free on Android
Paste a link to a long video or podcast, and Klipora AI finds the moments worth posting, cuts them into vertical clips and adds captions. Here is how it works, what you choose, and what to expect.
How a long video becomes shorts
1. Paste the video link. Klipora works from the link, so there is nothing to upload. If the video has dubbed audio in several languages, pick the track you want.
2. Choose the format: 9:16 for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and similar apps, or 1:1 and 16:9. Pick the export quality and how many shorts you want, from 1 to 5.
3. Tap Generate shorts. A timed transcript is written first, then the AI reads it and scores the strongest moments.
4. Each short starts on a clean sentence and ends at the end of a thought. Watch the results, then save them to your gallery or share them.
What the AI decides, and what you decide
The AI ranks the moments with a viral score, so the strongest clips come first. You choose the format, the number of shorts, the caption style and whether to turn on face tracking. You can restyle captions later in Caption Studio without making the short again.
What to expect
Export runs on your phone and keeps going when you leave the app or lock the screen. Progress shows in the notification. Only the parts of the video each short needs are downloaded, which saves data.
Long videos take longer, and the AI steps need internet. The AI's picks are a strong starting point, not a promise of views, so check each short before you post it.
On the free Android plan, one short per video is made at 720p. Extra features unlock with a short ad. The Windows version has every feature free.
